John the Baptist devoted his life preparing people for the Messiah. His mission was one of faith. He had made promises to crowds of people about what was to come and calling them to change their lives for something that couldn't be seen. Then in a moment, John the Baptist’s faith became sight, as he saw the very man he had been preparing people for. I have to imagine incredible joy rushed over John the Baptist. Maybe even relief. His faith was not a sham. The Promised One was here! What would he say? How would he respond?
