Often when we come the Scriptures, specifically a book like the Gospel of John, we refer to it like a Systematic Theology or a compilation of short stories. But each book of the Bible is written as a cohesive unit with a specific purpose.
John doesn’t leave us any doubt about his purpose. Not only does he state it explicitly in John 20:30-31, but the as we read the text carefully we can see how his purpose is threaded through every chapter and verse. In this message we will attempt to follow those threads.
