As Paul writes the letter of Second Corinthians he is writing from a place of great suffering. He is suffering because of external persecution (2 Corinthians 1:8) and he is suffering because of his sorrow for the church (2 Corinthians 2:4). But Paul’s season of suffering does not lead to discouragement and it does not diminish his preaching of the Gospel. In this passage we will see how Paul continues to thank God for the ministry of Gospel that He has been given through Christ.
