The Christmas Story (2015)
Merry Christmas! The story of Jesus’ birth is worth celebrating because of who Jesus is and what Jesus accomplished. Jesus is God, the fullness of God. He is God become man. God made visible. And He is the redeemer who came to purchase a people for Himself at the cost of His own perfect life, bearing wrath of God that was justly deserved by sinners like you and I. Who Jesus is and what He accomplished has forever changed the world and, from a human perspective at least, it all started on that first Christmas morning, making Christmas the most important birthday in all of time. With this in mind we will spend our time in God’s Word remembering and reflecting on the first Christmas when God became man.(Luke 1-2)
