The Fourth Commandment, to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy, is likely the most misunderstood of the 10 Commandments. it is often misunderstood because people only look at what exists on the surface of the command and fail to ask the right questions about what God is revealing through this instruction and how He is paving the way for Christ. The Fourth Commandment is a command to rest in God and it is a shadow of the greater rest that is coming (has come) in Christ. (Exodus 20:8-11)
