Seeing God Rightly in Times of Trial

Back to Message Archive

James is writing a letter to Christians who had fled persecution. Life was hard. Life had not gone the way that they had planned. Since James was a good pastor he writes a letter that focuses in on their situation.

While God uses all situations to grow us and strengthen us, James knows human nature. He knows our tendency to doubt God’s goodness and God’s plan and he speaks to help his readers trust God.

James offers three reminders that should help us think rightly about God in times of trial.
