In the book of Acts we have benefit of hindsight. We get to look back and see how God brings certain people, to certain places, at certain times in order to accomplish His plan.
The same thing is true in our lives and in our church. God has brought us together in this city, at this time for His purpose. The Scriptures remind us that everyone of us has a part to play in the functioning of the church; every one of us is needed (1 Corinthians 12:14-26).
In Acts 18 we have an example of how God brings people together at the right time and in the right place in order to advance the work of the Gospel.
