The story of Daniel and the Lion’s Den is a story about opposition. A story of man of God living in a world that is opposed to God and he is faced with a choice that he must make: He can choose to obey a decree made by the king and live, or he can choose to honor God and risk being put to death. Through this story we take time to consider what it looks like to live in a world that is opposed to God and see what God can accomplish through the opposition of those who follow Him.
