An Unwasted Ministry

Back to Message Archive

Anniversaries are important because they give us an opportunity to look back celebrate all that God has done. In many ways tonight is a celebration of the grace and goodness of God. But while anniversaries are a chance to celebrate, they are also an opportunity to evaluate. They are an opportunity for us to consider where we have been and where we are headed and make sure that what we are doing is what God has called us to do. One of my greatest fears, for us as church, is that we would find ourselves 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years down the road, only to look back and realize that we have not really done what God has called us to do. So as we celebrate two years together and look forward to the year in front of us I thought it might be helpful to spend some time answering this question: What does it look like to have an unwasted ministry?
