It’s Friday night. This is not a normal night for us to come together, but the reason we are together tonight is important. It is important for us to be together tonight because in two days we are going celebrate Easter. But the joy of Easter, of Resurrection Sunday, is only possible because of the reality of Good Friday. If we don’t understand the significance of Good Friday, then we will never truly rejoice in the events of Easter Sunday.
