The Bold Gospel

Back to Message Archive

This week we are picking up on the 2nd half of a story we started in Acts 3 and what we see is astounding. We see the first persecution of the church and we see what can only be described as the Holy Spirit powerfully empowering Peter to boldly stand up for the Gospel in the face of real danager. Most of us are timid with the Gospel. We are afraid to offend. We are scared of rejection. Peter was too at one point in his life, but by the grace of God he was a changed man and his example serves as an important one for us. We also see some very important foundations for the boldness of Peter and John that should give us great confidence and boldness.  (Acts 4:1-31)
