As we continue our study through the book of 1 John we continue to learn what it means to be confident in our relationship with Jesus Christ. John wants his readers to be certain that they are children of God and he describes how their faith should be revealed through the way they live. This passage forces us to answer some tough questions both in interpretation and application, but as we answer these questions we will be better equipped to be confident followers of Jesus Christ.
