Baptism Sunday

In preparation for our baptism service we considered Titus 3:1-8. In this passage Paul is telling Titus things that he should make sure the church remembers. In this message we consider three primary things that he is instructed to tell the church by way of reminder:

  • Remember who you were (Titus 3:3) - You lived for yourself without any regard for God.
  • Remember the salvation you recieved (Titus 3:4-6) - It is based on the character of God and His work, not any work that you have done.
  • Remember the results of your salvation (3:7-8, 1-2) - You are in right standing with God (justified), you have the hope of eternal life and you are called to live in good works.
