Believers who recognize the surpassing worth of Jesus will spend their lives in a passionate pursuit of Him. By his own example, Paul shares how we can effectivly run hard after God. The theme of eternity is one that is woven into the structure of of all Paul is teaching about our pursuit, it is our prize, it is all about Jesus and it is where our true citizenship is.
