It has been said that the quickest way to see what what matters most to a person is to see how they use their money. Our goal with our money, as with everything else in our life, should be to bring God glory. We should use our money in such a way that it shows others how much we treasure God. People should see the way we use our money and recognize our money is not our treasure, God is. The good news is that Paul shares how we can use our money to magnify God as well as the motivation necessary to see this through. This passage is an important one as Jesus teaches that it is harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich person to go to Heaven and as we will see the vast majority of American's fall into this category of rich as we understand the Bible's view of rich and where we stack up in comparison to the rest of the world.
