A spiritually healthy church needs spiritually healthy leadership. Paul knew this to be true, which is why he took time in his letter to Timothy to remind him of the kinds of leaders the church of Ephesus needed. This serves as a great reminder for us as leadership is just as important today as it was back in Paul's day. In our passage Paul tells us the kind of resume a pastor should have and the kinds of qualities that he should have. (1 Timothy 3:1-7).
