It's hard to believe that we are only about eight months away from packing up the uhauls and heading south. With each day that passes we are more excited about the journey that we have ahead of us. We can't wait to see what God has in store for Southern Hills. Although we are still living and ministering in the Springfield, Missouri area, there is already a lot going on in the life of Southern Hills.
One of the most exciting things that has happened over the last month is the unvailing of southernhillslife.org. We are very proud of the way that it turned out and we look forward to using it to keep you up to speed on all things in Southern Hills. We are also excited to have a tool that we can use to introduce ourselves to our future community. Please take time to look around at all the site has to offer.
Something that we are looking forward to in the month of November is the chance to present our ministry to our sending church, Sonrise Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri. If you live in the Springfield area please feel free to join us at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 14 at Sonrise. We would love to have you there as we discuss the ministry of Southern Hills.
We are very thankful for all of you who faithfully encourage us and pray for the ministry of Southern Hills. Even though we are not in Austin yet, we are already working hard and making plans for our church. Please continue to ask the Lord to prepare our hearts. Also, please remember to pray for the hearts of the people to whom we will be ministering.
May God receive the glory from our lives and the ministry of Southern Hills.
