Each year at this time we pause to consider a story that by all accounts is unbelievable, and yet it is true
We believe that God, the one who made the skies in all their wonder, designed our bodies with such precision and set history into motion; this God chose to enter into history, to take body for Himself and live under the skies He designed. He chose to become like us and to live as part of His creation.
God almighty entered the world. And as if that is not unbelievable enough, consider the way He came. He didn’t descend from the clouds or enter as an important person in a significant place; no, he entered the world in a little known town, through the womb of an unknown girl, in the middle of an otherwise insignificant night.
It’s a story that seems unbelievable, and yet it’s true.
