As we have worked our way through the first 8 chapters of the Gospel of John one thing that we have said over and over is that this book is a book about belief. It’s a book that was written “So that you may believe.”
As we come to 9:13-41 the primary focus is on those who do not believe. It’s a sad theme in the book of John, but one that is throughout the book (John 1:9-13). In John 9 we get a close look at the nature of unbelief as well as the answer for unbelief.
